Job Description

The C# Developer aids in building the next generation of system that drives the business by processing and modeling financial transactions of every asset class. This role works primarily with the Valuations and Risk Development teams.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

 

Pre-Requisite Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Proficient with SQL Server Database
  • Proficient in C# (>3 year working experience), with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
  • Experience with messaging middleware like RabbitMQ
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
  • Believer in automated testing
  • Knowledge in best practices, but able to balance use of design patterns in real world scenarios
  • Vast experience of testing platforms and unit tests
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
